Facing lawsuit is one thing, growing is another thing. I love the fact that despite the many draw backs on the side of Ripple, the coin still continues moving and at least trading on some excuse website like Luno, Binance, etc. As per the lawsuit, that one can be settled any time.

Ripple as a company is very smart, what they are doing is being proactive. The company is planning for the future, because they are aware that no matter the outcome of the court case nothing will be the same again, so what they are doing is to get another version of the coin that they can move on with in case the lawsuit goes against them, and that's why most investors are not worried too because they know that the company will still be there no matter what happens.

I don't see Ripple crashing even after the law suit , the company is built already and will definitely survive out side the shore of US and UK in case the law suit didn't favour them though I am optimistic

The ripple company has many investors across the entire world, and therefore it is essential that they constantly look at expanding the company to keep these investors. Especially at a time like this where they are so concerned about the outcome of the lawsuit that is happening in the USA it is a good move by the ripple company to show further expansion and create that level of confidence.

Even if the lawsuit is in the USA there are still concerns outside of the USA as well for example there were many exchanges and wallets that actually stopped listing the ripple coin after they saw the risk that was associated with the coin if they have to potentially lose the lawsuit.

I don't think that the ripple cryptocurrency is considered to be a new crypto-currency because it has been around for quite some time. In fact by some news articles it even shows that the coin is being supported by some banking systems as well.

You are right, and challenges in a business or in a crypto coin is very important because it is what will promote continuous improvement and development of the coin that will just make the network better for its users and bring in more investors.

I recently read that coinbase has suspended ripple trading. I don't think ripple has a future unless it wins the lawsuit. If it doesn't, it may not be dead yet, but marked illegal in the US. If ripple becomes illegal in the US, othwr countries might follow the suit.

The lawsuit does not in any way affect the price of ripple and it does not stop the investors from investing innthe crypto currency coin, it's just that the investment is illegal in the US for now.

Lol. bright indeed, a coin that hasn't cross 3$ over the past three years. From the day I discovered ripple could not cross 3$ since then have changed thing ripple is good for holding long...

In terms of a long-term investment can be a very good idea however I think that the recent fluctuations in the price actually does provide us with a very good opportunity to trade it on a short-term basis.
