The emergence of libra

Please can anybody tell me the main intention of this Libra of a thing... I know its a coin about to be launch by Facebook but what usefulness does it have..
 
Probably Facebook will be paying us to stay active on their social Media platform. I wish this coin able to gain necessary attention needed by the Facebook to make more money with it.
 
Facebook is already one of the most successful companies out there, and adding crypto currency is indeed a good step on their part as we are currently in a world ruled by crypto.
 
I don't think the launch of libra coin by Facebook will affect the crypto currency exchange Business in any way. Bitcoin is the leading Coin and Libra will definitely be behind it when launched
 
Facebook are not serious about the coin. Since they said it last year that they will have there own crypto currency by this year. Ever since then till now, I have not heard any news about the coin
 
Libra may affect the other crypto currency because considering the percentage of the world population who make use of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram which are all owned by the same individuals, and if the percentage of people makes use of Libra then the rest if the crypto may lose value
 
Facebook company changing its name to meta was not heard previously, it was known only when it changed the name. However, libra proposed by facebook has been in talk since a long time but we have not heard officially from facebook

Bitcoin will remain on top for a very long time and it does not matter if facebook, Microsoft, or any other company launches its cryptocurrency. Moreover, I am not even sure if facebook's coin has even launched in the market or not. I cannot find any market data of this coin on big market monitoring websites!
 
The emergence of libra coin have been a very good step to the development to the growth of cryptocurrency ,most especially by institution ,I think Facebook are really putting more effort in making sure that the project is more sucessful
 
Bitcoin have been in existence for over 12 years if am not mistaken. Just because Libra is owned by the world social media platform Facebook, doesn't mean it will skyrocket just like that and meet bitcoin in its current price. Let's think about it.
