I have my doubts about XRP situation, because this happened after the Spark (FLR) Airdrop announcement asking all platforms users holding or purchasing a lot of XRP in exchange to get more FLR.
Then after the traders bought a lot of XRP, weeks later the SEC problem came! And the XRP price drop more than 70%.

It seems the XRP owner have the knowledge about what will happen before the Spark (FLR) Airdrop announcement and US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) decision.

What do you think?...

Well, I cannot blame them for creating such security policy. Neither can I say it is wrong for doing such.

Security is needed to protect their information and that of their customer from outsider. And I believe no organization would set any security policy that would be of disadvantage to its users

I don't actually know if what you said here is the case. U.S SEC, never quoted the names of the third party members XRP distributed unregulated securities. It was seen unknown, they didn't call names, as such, I will list and get more clarity when the lawsuit rumbles.

Put simply, Ripple is low-risk investment with lots of potential rewards. It's something youshould definitely do some research before you consider adding it to your portfolio. The realRipple investing question then, does it really work? If you're willing to invest the time and energy, then for you, it could well do.

Perhaps the dates of the developments that took place could be completely coincidental. I don't know because more than 50 cryptocurrency exchanges, including major exchanges like Coinbase, Binance and Bitfinex, attended this event. In addition, the Spark (FLR) token airdrop campaign was carried out in partnership with Ripple and Flare Networks.

Spark is the native token of the Flare Network, a system that aims to bring functionality similar to Ethereum to XRP Ledger. According to the Airdrop campaign protocol, it was envisaged to distribute 1: 1 Spark Token to investors holding XRP during the snapshot taken on December 12.

I don't think that Ripple knew what was going to happen in terms of there being a lawsuit that was placed against them. Instead i think that they were rather planning for a new coin to be introduced by the company and were hoping to use that coin as a means in which to try and boost the number of ripple coins that are bought and so forth, and unfortunately this was not the case as there was a spanner thrown into the works with the lawsuit.

To start, investors should know that XRP is the third-largest cryptocurrency by value. Ripple Labs is the company and the controlling force behind the XRP tokens. Facing pressure to compete with its larger rivals, Ripple needed to do something to help it stand out. That is where the Spark (FLR) airdrop comes in.

Essentially, Ripple is adding Flare Network, a new protocol, to the XRP ecosystem. Flare Network will bring more support to owners of XRP tokens, specifically adding decentralized finance or DeFi functionality to the XRP ledger.

Well, we never can tell if Ripples was aware of the impending lawsuit that will be instituted against them by the US securities and exchange commission. To me, they are not aware of such moves by the government as no one can anticipate the move of the government.
I think the announcement by spark FLR airdrop and the resultant situation of Ripples XRP is all a coincidence not a well thought out strategy by Ripples.

I don't know how this turned out to be this way. To me it seems to be a coincidence. Ripple as I understand is a trusted cryptocurrency project and may not look for ways to plays tricks with investors .
