Should I invest in Ethereum or in Bitcoin ?

I wanted to invest in Bitcoins but one of my colleague gave me suggestion not to invest in bitcoin because if it is going up ,then soon it ll go down ,so he suggested me to invest in Ethereum. It's price is going up day by day after bitcoin. So what do you think,should I invest in ethereum or in bitcoin?

I will probably advise you invest in Ethereum, this is because it's a newer project and it has really don well for itself, couple with the fact that its cheaper as compared to BTC.

If you invest now for the long term, you're most likely to make a huge amount in profit as the price of Ethereum is predicted to go very high soon.

This is a really hard choice to be honest but you can invest in both if you are still not sure . Personally I have more funds in ethereum than in bitcoin because I believe in the ethereum project and what it will offer in the future.

Both ethereum and bitcoin are very good cryptocurrencies and l suggest if you have some more funds, you should invest in both because many experts are predicting prices of bitcoin and etherum prices may not drop much again.

I will advise you to invest in both , but preferably ethereum is better . This is because the price of ethereum is not as costly as Bitcoin ,and ethereum will rise more come 2021 . As for Bitcoin you can wait for the price to fall before buying the coin .

Bitcoin can always be a good investment, and it's the coin with the highest market cap on the market. Hence, most of the time indirectly affects most other cryptocurrencies price as well. But as for the second coin with the highest market cap, ethereum can still give you pretty good profits and might even be a better investment in the long run especially with the "upgrades" it's set out to get in the future I think investing a bit in both could be a pretty good idea as well though.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency; Ethereum is a platform. ... Transactions are much faster on the Ethereum network than on Bitcoin's. Bitcoin is primarily a store of value and medium of exchange; Ethereum is not. Ethereum was created as a complement to Bitcoin but ended up as competition.
So I think the best to go for now is Etherium

For someone that is vast with the terms of crypto currency, who actually understand market flow of bitcoin, will eventually chose bitcoin over Ethereum, because bitcoin always stay ahead of Ethereum. But, if you're thinking of having a second choice the you can chose Ethereum as plan B or second choice.
