Proof of Work Vs Proof of Stake

When it comes to investing, what kinds of crypto do you prefer crypto with proof of work mechanism or proof of stake mechanism? I prefer POS because I can stake and earn profits from my assets. POW needs mining, and mining requires investing in hardware and software.
 
When I choose a token to buy, I don't pay attention to how they get new tokens. However, if you talk about the method that I like more for profit, then I would choose mining over staking, because it is definitely much more profitable, although not stable, and also much more interesting, and I would like to understand this field much better
 
Since earning through mining is more of a tedious work and also requires you to spend money to maintain the mining rig, I find proof of stake coins better as we can earn rewards through staking, and there is no need for maintainence.
