If paypal can add the crypto option it will really make sense to its users. At least one can easily convert his or her paypal cash for crypto and send elsewhere.
Sure they won't allow other countries where they have banned already to use their crypto services, which include buying and owning their own coins.I remember searching for money making methods and websites on the internet back in the years 2008 and 2009, There were no cryptocurrencies at that time. In the year 2009, bitcoin was there but it never gained popularity as it did now. There was only one payment method on the internet: paypal. This frustrated me a lot. i am not sure if Paypal's coins will be available in all the countries or will it be limited to countries where paypal is supported?

Has paypal started accepting crypto currency? I knew they were integrating crypto but I wasn't sure if they had started accepting crypto that would be a good news for paypal and crypto users.PayPal integrated Crypto currency into their platform since last year and it had great impact in the market and they have been doing great in the business.
You are right. if PayPal can have there own coin. It will convince many people to have trust in crypto currency because PayPal is seen as the best and the most secured payment processor in the world. This will also make the price of crypto currency to rise up.This move would convince so many people to believe in the potentials that crypto currencies have got. In the past they relied on PayPal as the only reliable Payment gateway, but now that PayPal itself is adopting crypto currencies, people would believe the potentials of crypto currencies.
Paypal is just not for us, the rules are too much. If they can settle down that rules, and spread their arms for other countries to access it, it will be noteworthy like crypto. As a Nigerlan I don't encourage people to use PayPal because it is highly risky, we are lucky for the trend of cryptocurrencies that has made transactions more easier.
They seem comfortable with the number of countries they offer services to at the moment they are just like coinbase. It is good that alternatives are available.Paypal is just not for us, the rules are too much. Then they should remain like that since they don't want to extend their services to others. Coinbase is simply acting like Paypal too, I'm happy to have discovered Binance. They seem comfortable with the number of countries they offer services to at the moment they are just like coinbase. That's just it , Binance, luno and few other Exchange plaforms were a serious blessings to Africa for cross border payment . I think less about coinbase and paypal. Then they should remain like that since they don't want to extend their services to others. If they want to consider business sense first, then I believe they would allow those countries but the regulations and verification process is going to be very strict.if PayPal continues with this innovations of theirs which toe on all honesty is very important and good innovation, will they let those countries they restricted to now having access to this new plan?
Sure, those two wallet/exchange site are great to us from African region you can't access PayPal and full.features around Coinbase. That's just it , Binance, luno and few other Exchange plaforms were a serious blessings to Africa for cross border payment . I think less about coinbase and paypal.
Then why are they now saying one can pay with cryptocurrencies as they are saying they added cryptocurrencies payment option in the PayPal wallet. Why still asking people to make payment with card if one is taken to MarchantSince to this date I doesn't see on any merchant site of PayPal feature of pay with cryptocurrency so every payment requires signup and pay with debit card and no option to pay with cryptocurrency may be in far future this will be available.
To promise to do something is different from going to action so a website owner can say he will do option A and B and C and by finality he realize option C because when it comes to realization then it will be hard to implement due to lack of time of technical support. Then why are they now saying one can pay with cryptocurrencies as they are saying they added cryptocurrencies payment option in the PayPal wallet. The ban on crypto currencies really affected these indigenous exchange platforms as they are not having a good peer to peer market place at the moment to compete with binance. It is my hope that if cryptocurrencies become accepted in Nigeria , there will be a strong indigenous Exchange platforms in the country as they were already growing before the sudden ban.
Yeah because they were just basically into cryptocurrency to fiat transactions for few coins not engage in trading activities that will engage members. The ban on crypto currencies really affected these indigenous exchange platforms as they are not having a good peer to peer market place at the moment to compete with binance.
