Yes ,that's what I saw on the news and even with this most African countries in which paypal is not accepted will still not be able to make use of this opportunity, it is only available for a location in which PayPal is fully accepted... It is a nice idea as this will help people to easily convert their money to cryptocurrency.. but I don't know about their transaction fee.

Recently I also saw this news. As per my view, it's a good decision it'll make transactions easier. f you decide to make a purchase with crypto, PayPal will automatically convert it into the U.S. dollar at no additional cost. That's what they post recently.

In November 2020, PayPal announced that all account holders in the US would be able to buy and sell cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin through its platform. The news followed its announcement in October 2020 that it would introduce options for cryptocurrency services through a partnership with Paxos Crypto Brokerage.

PayPal now allows transactions of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin within the PayPal digital wallet. To be able to transact bitcoin, first, you need a verified US PayPal account, activated for Cryptocurrency transactions.

Well, now PayPal has also announced that even people in the United kingdom could also buy cryptocurrencies using their PayPal account. I think they will expand this facility to other countries as well. They must do that if they want to expand their business.

This is a nice idea but unfortunately we will not enjoying since PayPal is not accepted here. I don't even know their problems concerning this if this has been fully adopted by The PayPal system

PayPal has not been working and functioning in many countries , most especially African countries and even if they are adopting crypto currency coin ,it doesnt make any sense.

The fact that paypal allows Bitcoin or crypto currency exchange Business on its PLATFORM really mean a lot of more companies will definitely adopt the use of crypto currency which is a good thing for the market

so many businesses around the world are already adopting the use of cryptocurrency. The news of PayPal accepting cryptocurrency is actually not a surprise to me because I expected it. There are a lot of big businesses that will also adopt it in the future.
