If such payment processor has been made to become legal, then you can allow your tenants to pay you in cryptocurrency. Because if you it is not yet legal, you can't issue a reciept for the rent showing cryptocurrency

Lol. This could be funny but let's be rest assured that will soon be happening as cryptocurrency has now been a medium of payment in some countries. USA, Australia and others

It is no longer a news that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is used to pay for goods and services around the world. My question is as realtor or house owner can you allow your tenant pay rent with crytocurrency?
Of course, I would definitely like to receive rent and even other forms of payment in crypto as I prefer that to banks that would even remove bank charge but crypto can help me to get more interest

So many places are beginning to adopt bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but then it'll still remain a problem provided that top governments around the world and not going to openly backed the project.

It will be good if it's actually implemented, but we need to bear in mind that any good implementation have it's set backs and cryptocurrency is not different.

I dont think it is possible in ths country count because crypto currency is not legal but in america it is possible to pay rent with it

You are right Especially in developing countries. Country like Nigeria when government has not lifted ban on cryptocurrency and there are lot of cryptocurrency users in Nigeria and many are willing to pay in cryptocurrency.

that's true , people use crypto currency to buy food stuffs and other things ,but for house rent I don't think that is possible , because is not anybody that knows and value crypto currency.

I dont think paying rent with cryptocurrency is very necessary even if it's then it's very rear and not in most of the society. this is because the knowledge of cryptocurrency has not been spread globally even though to some extent its knowledge but not to the stage of paying rent with.

With so many people adopting cryptocurrency payment, I don't see why a realtor should not accept it for rent payments. But the realtor should do alot of research first to know how to benefit best from such crypto payments.

If you are using crypto currencies as a payment method, you might use this method provided your landlord accepts crypto currency. sending payment with cryptos take less than a minute, so it is good to use instead of fiat currency.

It's not totally advisable for someone who doesn't know much about cryptocurrency but the truth is that it's a welcome development if rents are to be paid in cryptocurrency. The landlord will tell you the coin you're to pay into, maybe even usdt

Although the payment is fast and secure, it is not advisable to pay for goods and services in crypto, at least not now. Who will be responsible when the price falls down the time of the transaction?

This will be very much easier if the landlord has a good understanding of cryptocurrency, but it seems most of them don't really know what cryptocurrency is all about and might really be difficult for them to accept payments with cryptocurrency since they don't have wallets to receive it to.

I think get your point but I have my reservations. Saying most landlords don't know cryptocurrency is not right. Besides lots of estates are own by young adults in thier 30s and 40s this days who have knowledge about cryptocurrency. Some of them may accept it or not, It is a matter of choice.

If I am a landlord I can allow my tenants to pay me in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin. All I need is payment proof to show that they have already transfer the cryptocurrency into my wallet.

If this news can actually happen here in my country , then it's indeed the best news I have heard this year, paying rent with crypto currency is a good and a welcoming development.

Majority of the landlord here are old people and they don't know anything about cryptocurrency not to talk of creating a wallet. They might not understand you if you see that you want to pay rent in cryptocurrency.

I don't see any problem with paying via this method. It woul even save both you and your landlord the stress of having to carry cash around. The only issue would be valuating the current rate which has to be calculated using the price at the time.

There is no way you can pay rent in cryptocurrency in my country as Federal government has placed A ban on transaction of cryptocurrency in the country. Whoever engage in this might got arrested according to the law.
