Paper Wallets for Cryptocurrency

I think web based wallets can't be trusted anymore. As we already have seen the coinbase and robinhood which could be making things difficult for some of us. I think we can have the hardware wallets and the paper wallets which can help with the cryptocurrency holding. So the people are making use of the hardware wallets lately and can pretty much use it for storing the crypto.

That being said, paper wallet too are new and often used for the storing the crypto into it. Do you think they can be possible future in crypto?

I wouldn't bet on the benefit of an hardware cryptocurrency wallet because even the hardware cryptocurrency wallet could be stolen and so it is not safe in my own opinion. The online cryptocurrency wallet happens to be my best option to store and save cryptocurrency.

I know of the hardware wallet, but which one is paper wallet, and apart from robin hood, how as coinbase become a non life easy exchange.

They might be secured to an extent but there is also disadvantages that it comes with. Being paper , any slight crack on the QR code can render it unreadable to the scanner

I won't say much about this, because one I don't use Coinbase and the other platform wallet you made mentioned of,so I don't have any issue so far with them.

I can not advise people to save there coin on any website based wallets like coinbase, Blockchain info and many more like that because the coin is controlled by the web base wallet company. If anything should happen to the company then the coin is gone. But paper wallet is very secure and you control the coin yourself.

I did not know of paper wallet until I stumbled upon this thread. I will have to do more research on this topic and try to find out what exactly is a paper wallet.

Paper wallets are not as popular as smartphone wallets, web wallets or even hardware wallets. Paper wallets are software wallets that will ask you to write down your private keys in a paper and store it safely.

Could you tell the difference between the paper wallet and the hardware wallet? I know of hardware wallet but I haven't heard of paper wallet. It correct that the paper wallet is shielded from cybercriminals.

I still think that some online wallets are still trustworthy though I don't really know how well paper wallets would fly in this period since there's a lot of digital revolution.
There's the project that's moving to cashless societies.

Web wallet are trusted , it depends on the one you are using that is why in any cryptocurrency platform you are using you really have to be very sure about them, binance, trust wallet and other are really trusted.. you can invest your money there

Paper Wallets are totally safe. As in Paper wallet, you will have both your public & private keys with you so you will have full control over your bitcoins. You don’t have to worry about stealing private keys as you can keep them in some locker. It's funny we moved from paper currency to digital cryptocurrency again we are turning back to paper Bitcoins. It's a funny world out there.

I have seen the possibility of having paper wallet but then I have no reason to believe that they are going to be safe because at any time that people can get buns or get missing.

Custodial wallet I believe that are still the best for you to use right now. There is absolutely no reason in trying to use paper wallet because it is still going to be exposed to some kind of different security.

Well it looks safe, but consider a scenario where you lose your paper wallet how would you gain access to your crypto currency store there. Or if someone else gains access to paper wallet because you misplaced it wouldn't they have automatic access to your crypto currency.
