Monero wants Elon Musk to accept its coin

Recently we have heard a lot about Elon Musk and it is no secret that he has taken a major interest in the cryptocurrency world. In fact, much o the prices that we see that are surging at the moment can be attributed to tweets that have been made by Elon Musk showing interest in Bitcoin and Dogecoin.

In a recent news article, it seems that Monero wants Elon Musk to accept the XMR coin as a method for payment at Tesla. This comes after they have hinted that Bitcoin may possibly be a future payment option for Tesla. Do you think that accepting XMR is a good idea?

This coin is known for its anonymous nature, even more so than Bitcoin. So do you think such a reputable business like Tesla will even consider accepting it? And will it be of any benefit to Tesla to do so?

Well i think with the acceptance of bitcoin as a payment option in Tesla its just a matter of time that other crypto currecncy will be accepted as a mode of payment. Bit the downside to the monero option is its complete untraceabilty and anonymity. With bitcoin some sort of trace can be mined and details gotten but its not the case with monero.

The possibility of Monero being accepted by Tesla is pretty low, in my opinion.

It's complete anonymity may not really go well with such a large business, where there may be a need to at least trace part of some transactions if the need arises.

In my own opinion I know that Elon musk will accept it cos he can and if he feels like the coin truely has a great future around it, Elon will promote it and see to it that everyone is investing on it

I don't think they might even consider using the coin ,since its been seen as a privacy coin and it could be used by those hackers and scammers without been able to track them , this is what telsa would first consider before even making use of the coin for any activities they are willing to do i think

I don't think that Mr Elon musk will accept their proposal because most investors invest in what is in on their mind not what anyone tells them. Elon musk on his own went and invested in dogecoin and also in Bitcoin of his own volition without being invited to them. Monro are probably on a wild goose chase with their appeal.

Elon Musk could invest in it if he sees a future in the coin and how it's going to benefit his business. Remember it's all about how to make money for them. If he sees a gold mine in it.. he may go ahead to invest

The Monero community has announced that they want Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) to add XMR as a payment option for its cars. The community posted the proposal on the Tesla website and wants Elon Musk, the CEO of the automobile company to make that feat possible.

The Monero community posted the CCS proposal on February 9 and has since raised $155,000 (890 XMR) in a bid to persuade Tesla to add XMR as a payment option alongside Bitcoin.

I think Elon musk have taking a liking in crypto curreny well he's the one that made doge coin more popular. Lately he's been investing in bitcon and doge coin. To be honest I am getting confused with crypto currency. There used to be Bitcoin, Ethereum and some other crypto currency but now it seems that every Tom, Dick and Harry have their own coins. In this forum I have been reading new coins that I have not encountered so that means there are crypto currency being born every week or every month? it is not getting better for me.

I think they're trying to get monero involved with Elon musk aswell to have a boost maybe? There's not a lot of shops or company that accepts monero not even earning websites are offering monero so why offer it on elon when it's not even that much established for transactions yet? Twitter is one of mostly used social media where news and information breaks as fast as possible. I have seen a lot of business marketing campaigns carried out using the social media Twitter for marketing but I really haven't given it much thought about using Twitter for my business marketing because Facebook has been good for me so far and I'm not really that active on Twitter.

Crypto currency especially Bitcoin has been receiving major recognition recently so it is expected to see more people want to join the market I think Tesla is still open to crypto decisions so the XMR might be accepted in the future.
