Well, electricity theft is a really huge issue in my country. However, if a person "steals" power to mine coins, then he or she would need to steal the power in a huge quantity because mining takes a lot of power, I reckon.
 
My friend was a victim of this mining theft. There were 20 of them. The next day, they cannot anymore get access to that mining site. They trusted well that the mining site was legit. It is good to be keen to avoid getting scammed.
