Litecoin (LTC) the implementation of MimbleWimble's privacy feature aims to protect itself (the Litecoin blockchain) from quantum computing that might threaten the integrity of confidential transactions.

I like everything related to litecoin as it becomes a popular payment method for sending and receiving money like bitcoin one and many sites are supporting it for transactions or anything similar.

Anyone even uses those features? I doubt it. Plus I think the update does not even try to compete with the other currencies that are already in the market. You need something strong to compete on the privacy side. I hope that privacy improves on it but we can't really hope much unless it crosses 200 price.

This is the first time I will hear that litecoin is used as a testing ground for bitcoin projects. It showed that the two blockchains have similarities.

There are people that value such features, mainly developers and whales with large capital to protect.

This scenario is comparable to people using Ethereum despite the high gas charges.

Any coin in BEP20 or ERC20 has the same high gas fee debit to the people as they are practically the same network for all of them.

Since the activation of Mimblewimble's privacy technology on the Litecoin blockchain on May 20, 2022, Litecoin users can disguise transactions so that Litecoin is included in the list of cryptocurrencies monitored by the South Korean government, well-known crypto exchanges such as Bithumb and Upbit have immediately delisted Litecoin from their trading lists.

It seems the execution of the privacy features of the litecoin is gaining progress because I read in a news article that, it will be possible for the litecoin transaction to be masked.

LTC was created from the Bitcoin source code. It did not fork from Bitcoin. MimbleWimble will upgrade transaction size on the LTC blockchain and improve privacy.

Exchanges like Binance do not support the MBWB version, I too do not use it for LTC transaction, but if needed, I will use it.

The major purpose of MinbleWimble project is to integrate a privacy feature in the litecoin which is a very good move to advance the cryptocurrency project

It's a very wonderful feature that is expected and since it has been concluded, the litecoin holders will now enjoy the privacy feature presented by litecoin..

It was a long-awaited update for users of the Litecoin network, as an investor of this blockchain I liked it a lot since it gives an option to users to opt for more private transactions thanks to MWEB, I hope that in the future Litecoin will continue to develop in this way, since privacy is something that we are losing a lot today, in fact Litecoin was criticized by some regulators and delisted from some exchanges for this move, a bit laughable if you ask me.

This is practically why Litecoin is on top of the list of my favorite cryptocurrencies. After Bitcoin, it's Litecoin that comes up next on my list before Ethereum. This MimbleWimble's privacy feature is a great upgrade which all coins needs.
