Laws on the use of AI in the future?

AI is blowing up and continues to advance and get better. The problem though is that AI is going to be utilized for the bad reasons more likely. Creating deepfake porn, stealing art or themes of art from other artists, using AI to cheat and write a paper for you, etc. Which brings me to the point of this topic. Should there be some laws put in place about AI and the use of it? Like laws where it's illegal to make adult content using a deepfake of a celeb or someone you know personally? Laws that limit the use in schools and could in turn result in suspension. I feel like we're going into a direction where AI is going to be illegal in some regards, or there will be new rules/regulations set up about it. What do you think?

The real question is going to be if the use of artificial intelligence still won't be made possible to bypass any of those laws it's supposed to breach? Artificial Intelligence is a very smart computer programm that's almost capable of anything once it reaches its full potential. We are in for one hell of a ride.

One of the major issues related to AI is who owns the content created by AI. SInce you wrote the prompt, you might think that it is you who owns the content but you are nit the one who created it. The AI also does not create itself, it analyzes data and creates content from the available data, therefore, it is also not the actual creator. I think this issue needs to be addressed properly.

Even at the early stages of AI, there's been so many prevalent issues with the technology. When they are not properly addressed, it's going to keep creating tension in any field where artificial intelligence is used. I found a very good article that addressed legal issues related to AI.
