Is using a hot air stream to dry hair beneficial?

Many individuals told me that it is preferable to use a hair dryer that just blows air at the room temperature rather than ones that can only dry hair with hot air because they are ineffective. Which one hair dryer do you use?

I do not use dryer. I just wipe my hair with towel and let it dry naturally. However, if I have to go outdoors and I need to dry hair quickly, I will use hot dry hair dryer.

I don't keep my hair to grow big, I barb it very often. That is to say am very okay with drying my hair using a towel or of some sort.

I never use a hairdryer, I don't think this is beneficial for the hair, and I say this being a person with quite long hair, I always use the towel and let it dry naturally.
