Is there compulsory military service in your country?

In my country it has not been mandatory for many years, but in your country? Is military service mandatory? How long has it been mandatory, if applicable?

There are no requirements for compulsory military service for citizens in my country.

I was recently thinking about this fact and regretted it. In my view, compulsory military se4vice would aid in reducing the high levels of unemployment in my country. I know that these jobs would be short-lived. Nevertheless, such a requirement would help to keep young people engaged.

No, there is not. When a new constitution was being drafted about 15 years ago, they discussed about this and majority of lawmakers were against it.
