Is the microwave actually dangerous for food and our body?

I wasn't very interested in research, but I was often told that food loses all its nutrients if it is heated in a microwave oven. Is this true? Do you use the microwave oven often? Did you feel any effect after eating such food?

I don't have a microwave, so, I do not know whether it is harmful to our health or not. However, I wouldn't find any issues in using microwave as we are already using a lot of harmful things, and what's the problem with using one more.
