Litecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies. It was created as a hard fork to Bitcoin in 2011. In terms of transaction speed and transaction cost, litecoin is better than Bitcoin and most of the popular coins in the market. However, if you look at the market cap, price per coin, and trading volume, litecoin does not even feature on the top 10 list. Currently, it is in the 15h position with a $2.9 billion market cap and $67 per coin. Do you think litecoin is a failed crypto project.

In no way, I don't think that Litecoin is a failed crypto project, in fact it is quite popular and one of the most used cryptocurrencies for transactions, it is in 15th place, but if you look at it, it has not stopped climbing positions since 2021 where it was by below the top 20 cryptocurrencies

Yeah, litecoin has gained market cap but it has substantially lost value. Well, you might say during the bear market, a lot of coins have lost value. That's true, but even during the bull market compared to recent coins, litecoin never gained traction. IT is a good coin as a payment form but in terms of investment and profiting, I do not think it can be called good.

I had higher expectations than what LTC is doing at the moment. It is one coin that I regret making long-term investments on. How I wish that I can be able to find solace in the long-run when the bullish run returns too. I would have invested in BNB which gave better value than what Litecoin is doing at the moment.

Well, that's what I am trying to say. Litecoin hasn't proved as a profitable investment. Despite having great features, it has not grown like other coins. Investing in litecoin does not look profitable.

I don't think Litecoin is a failed cryptocurrency. While its value and popularity have had ups and downs, it still serves as a digital currency for quick and low-cost transactions. It has a dedicated community of users and developers who continue to support and improve it. Litecoin has been around for a long time in the crypto world, which suggests it has its place, even though it may not be as well-known as Bitcoin or Ethereum.

It may be, this usually happens a lot with bitcoin forks, as it is not as innovative as other currencies which increased incredibly in price in the last bullrun, for example solana, which rose a lot in price and market cap, currencies like litecoin or bch do not usually stand out a lot during bull runs since they are all very similar currencies to each other and are not so "speculative"

Litecoin can never be considered as a failed cryptocurrency now. It's as old as Bitcoin and one of most popular cryptocurrency. It's speed of completing transactions with cheaper charges have made it the most used by many cryptocurrency users. Yes, the coin have lost value from $410.26 which is its all time high down to $63.49 today, it's sad but that's the same thing with other cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin.

The value it has lost is similar to the value that all other cryptocurrencies have lost, it is not something exclusive to Litecoin, so we can not call it a failure because that, as we say it is very old, it is almost like the little sister of Bitcoin and is one of the most used cryptos for fast and cheap transactions.

The Litecoin crypto is the most used despite it becoming a classic coin and no further developments are implemented this means that people for example on other coins like MATIC or MANA everyday there is something new despite Litecoin later they added MWEB and there is nothing after that.

Yes, it was the same thing with every other cryptocurrency. It's not enough to write off Litecoin as being a failed coin. If it's looked at like this, Bitcoin should also be written off as a failed cryptocurrency too because it lose more than what other cryptocurrency lost in terms of worth.

I think LItecoin including a popular cryptocurrency and is still traded in many exchanges and CFD brokers like FXOpen, but maybe the popularity is still under the top ten coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum, Litecoin is not fail but public adoption maybe still below Bitcoin

Litecoin is very similar to Bitcoin, it is a cryptocurrency made for transactions, that is why there is not much development or updates, the important thing is that it works decentralized and the transactions are for the purpose for which said cryptocurrency was designed, that is, fast, cheap transactions and efficient.

Its true that the position of Litecoin is not on the top 10 coinmarketcap, but still its the number on choice for many cryptocurrency users to make transaction and for withdrawals in from sites because it have very little withdrawal fees, and yeah for thus who are new for trading world its recommended to use coin that have lower price like litecoin because the the risk of losing money is very low, so i think its better not to say litecoin is failed.

I wouldn't say a failed coin, because even though it's $63 currently per coin, that's not bad. I mean, it's not as bad as Dogecoin which is like worth nothing, and yet that's still around. At least with Litecoin I can see it being something that grows from time to time. It probably won't reach Bitcoin levels or Ethereum levels, but it could be a thing to maybe invest a little into.

It is never a failed project. Litecoin has gain popularity and growth so far in the last two years. There are some transactions in which litecoin in been integrated while most of the platforms are yet to support some coins despite being around for years in the market.

It seems to me that for some reason people ignore litecoin, although it was once a top 3 cryptocurrency for me, and I cannot understand why this is because the litecoin network has the lowest commission for transfers and this is already a factor by which this cryptocurrency should be in the top 5 and should grow in the price

Perhaps people don't see as much possibility of future revaluation as other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, but I do see potential and it is that it is very similar to Bitcoin in reality, and even with fewer fees and faster, time will tell if we are right or not.
