I don’t see or hear of many people talking about it anymore, not like they were in 2020/2021 at least. It seems like the general interest in crypto as dropped off a lot. Have you noticed this or is it just me?

It is normal, people move for the possible profit, the crypto world and also the stock market is in a bear market, which is synonymous with loss of interest in the retail investor markets, this is very common and they are economic cycles, the good times will return, it only takes time and patience, And everyone will be talking about the stock markets and crypto again.

Even though the crypto market is still down, crypto adoption has greatly increased. Crypto is not beings used for international trade and commerce, there are countries that are using crypto as a legal tender. Despite governments in some countries are tightening the rules regarding crypto, people are being more hopeful of crypto. Some companies are even releasing BTC ETFs. THis means a lot to the crypto market.

There are still lots of persons who are going into crypto currency but that huge hype is no longer there, unlike when Crypto started gaining ground at the early stage. Though the facts remains that there are more people invested in cryptocurrency now compared to before but they don't hype it that much.

The simple truth is that there are still a lot of people that are yet to embrace and accept the legitimacy of cryptocurrency which is why we see a lot of countries government being against the use of cryptocurrency and trying everything possible to suppress it.

In the year 2020, it was trending so much because there are many people who are still learning about it for the very first time then but right now, it seems like even a day old child already know or have heard about the term cryptocurrency.

2021/2022 saw a very torrid year in the existence of cryptocurrency because the bearish market nearly looked as if it wanted to crash blockchain technology. For Bitcoin to crash from its all-time high of $68,789.63 down to $13,000 to $14,000, we all thought it was the end of cryptocurrency.
