Instruments making

Where are the musical equipments made? In a factory? How costly or professional appearing are they compared to the locally made ones?

Is there any difference in their ability to produce music? Which are better?

I think both can sound the same no matter how they're made but only when they're brand new. Of course, masterfully-crafted instruments will last and sound better longer.

I've seen instruments made in factories by machines which tend to cost less and by hand which tends to cost more.

Anything made in factory as a bulk in cheaper than anything made by hand and in limited number. This applies to instruments as well.

Though hand made instruments are good but I always go for factory made products only because of their price difference.
