This often happens and this is due to a technical problem at their webmail as webmail limited send to 100 per hour or sometimes a little more like 200 per hour and if you calculate total signup and login code added to reset password this average could be reached or bypassed and has no relation with trustworthy of website, means you could email support for account activation and then there is another alternative is the switch from email verification to 2FA authentification in security as 2FA disables email verification. Means what you say is totally wrong based on a lack of knowledge with web mailers and hosting. When a GPT site asks for your email so they can send you an activation code, and you never get it.
So you click “Resend Activation Code” and you get yelled at by an automated message saying
YOUR ACTIVATION CODE WAS SENT 5 MINUTES AGO, CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER.
So you check the spam folder and still nothing. Then you email “support” and never hear back from them. Classy site.
This has happened to me before. Couple times.
And the best part is when you end up getting the activation code like a week later. And by then you’re thinking hmmmm if it takes this long for an activation code, how long will it take to get paid? Months? Years? Will I get yelled at again?
Don’t walk. RUN
Has this ever happened to you?
