I would advice you research on the particular wallet you want. There are different types like luno, trust, coin base, binance, which have different kind of restrictions and features between geographical locations. After that,
Download it on your phones store then follow the prompts.
You should have a working email and a phone number.

With my plans of getting into Bitcoin I think I need to have a Bitcoin wallet first. Now I need your help to suggest how to have a wallet - is it a choice of website? Do I need to deposit an amount for the initial balance or is the wallet okay with a zero balance? I am not keen on trading yet or on buying Bitcoin for now. My intention is to use the wallet for part of my online earnings just to get a feel of how the Bitcoin and wallet work. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I may also need more information about the Bitcoin wallet.
Yes it depends on the types of cryptocurrency as well are going to save in your cryptocurrency wallet there are some cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to trade crypto-currencies like bitcoins and ethereum and there are some cryptocurrency wallet that is mainly for saving of bitcoins that's all. First of all you have bitcoin Wallet. After then next process will be started

Having a wallet is fairly easy now when compared to a few years ago. There is huge competition with so many companies springing up. You can easily pick any one of your choice and you will be be just fine like Luno or Bundle.

If you are within Nigeria, you can use quidax, download from the play store, get verified by submitting required documents, after being verified, deposit some naira using your card or other available methods, amount deposited would reflect immediately which you can use to purchase the crypto of choice, all the best. If you are outside Nigeria, check out Binance, it serves a lot of Countries including Nigeria.

I created my bitcoin wallet using LUNO APP. It can be downloaded via play store or apple store. It is very easy to set up. Everything will be done within 10minutes. Luno app is easy to use. You can easily trade there either you want to buy or sell or even transfer the bitcoin to your local bank account in terms of the country's currencies

One of the best crypto app is binance, it also has a coin. So you simply just register on binance.com and click on deposit fund your wallet, open bitcoins and buy.

You have to decide is it for storage or for holding, if it's for storage, the money value will still be intact, but if it's for hold you will make gain from it,block chain and binance wallet.

Bitcoin wallet is not difficult to have, it depends on your choices and the type of cryptocurrency that you want to keep. I use trustwallet for most of my cryptocurrencies while I use blockchain for my bitcoin and binance for my cryptocurrency exchanges.

You should then consider between Centralized exchange wallet and decentralized wallet the one you will want to have . Then you can store your earnings there.

Coinbase and blockchain just requires your email and password to create a new wallet. Other wallets like trust wallet doesnt require anything except the recovery phrase you have to remember.

I am using coinbase since 2015 and I am quite happy with this multi currency wallet and exchange platform. I might also try my hands on Binance as it is also very popular.
I have Coinbase and Binance wallets. They can both store or exchange your bitcoins there. Its free to open an account there too. Just search them out in google and sign up your new account.

If you are a newbie and if you have a tiny fraction of bitcoin use web wallet or smartphone wallet, but for experienced people and for those who have a lot of bitcoins, desktop wallet is the best

I would suggest other wallet apart from bitcoin wallet due To their current gas fee being to high... You can download trustwallet at paystore or metamask to begin with.

I think it depends on the kind of wallet you are going for, i heard you need to pay if you are going for a hardware wallet. But most online wallet are free, you just need to create an account or better still create an account with exchange plathfroms like binance, luno, roqqu etc

For you to have a bitcoin wallet you need to have a crypto currency exchange platform you are willing to use to start buying and selling not Bitcoin. For example you can start using binance or kucoin as your crypto currency exchange platform.
