With my plans of getting into Bitcoin I think I need to have a Bitcoin wallet first. Now I need your help to suggest how to have a wallet - is it a choice of website? Do I need to deposit an amount for the initial balance or is the wallet okay with a zero balance? I am not keen on trading yet or on buying Bitcoin for now. My intention is to use the wallet for part of my online earnings just to get a feel of how the Bitcoin and wallet work. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I may also need more information about the Bitcoin wallet.

So many ways to have a bitcoin wallet. Firstly, you can try Coinbase app, or download trust wallet or you use roqqu app. All these and many more are ways to get your bitcoin wallet ready.
And we will talk later about how you can set it up and buying or selling bitcoin.

First of all, you have to know that we have trading wallet which allows you to trade your coins on the platform, you can download luno, binance and others for this. And there are some wallets for only keeping of coins like trust wallets. Either of the two, you will need to deposit your desired coins for trading or storing.

The thing is that there are severàl wallets you could opt for depending on your taste and how convinced you are after doing your own research.
There is absolutely no need to pay anything before hand but I would suggest using a wallet where you can withdraw your coins through fiat.

Thank you for the information. Yes, I am from the Philippines and the local Bitcoin wallet is the most appropriate for me. Let me check it out later. I have already noted down the link. It is nice to hear that it is licensed by the central bank and I had to check it - yes, it is true. How do you withdraw your Bitcoins if you already have a substantial amount that you can use for your own purpose? Does it work like Paypal that you can transfer money to your bank account?

To all those who commented, may I thank you for your effort. I have successfully created a digital wallet in Coins.ph and it looks good. Thanks to all.

If you wish to withdraw your bitcoin, you have to convert it in Philippine currency first. What I do is I send it on my gcash account as I have a Gcash mastercard to withdraw it from the ATM. But I think you can also withdraw it on banks or remittance center that was supported by coins.ph.

When having a Cryptocurrency wallet, there are so many platforms that offers that service, you just have to download their mobile application, then follow the guidelines and choose a very strong password for your wallet. There are so many wallets to choose from but I will advice you to go for coinbase application.
