Lots of fake applications are circulating on both the App Store and the GooglePlay Store. In fact, recently there was a man named Phillipe Christodoulou who lost 17 BTC to Trezor, even though this wallet is a hardware wallet but we will need application software to be able to access hardware wallets, So what do you think, how to avoid fake applications?

The best way to avoid fake application download is to first of all read what other people are saying about them in terms of review. With that you will be able to know if they are legit or not

There are so many fake apps , its just too hard to find them , all you need is to check more reviews, when some reviews can be deceptive, just do more of your proper research about the app to be sure of what you are doing

Hmm, lots of fake applications circulating on google play store and app store. In order to spot this apps, read through the comments people made about the app, then go online and see reviews before going on, doing anything with it.

I guess the best way to go about this is to try as much as possible to read peoples review over the app or software you are trying to download on play store or app store, through that you will know if the app is okay or not.

You are absolutely right There are many websites and apps that are cheating people. He cheats on people who come to work online for the first time He does not have any experience nor does he know of any website which is Legitimate I would like to say that if you do any work online, first you should have complete knowledge about apps or website. If you have knowledge then your time will not be lost And you will also be saved from being cheated.

Read the reviews and the rating of this app on the play store before you download it; also, you can use forums to see other information about it.

Is actually a good strategy but be rest assured that some of these fake app developers pay people to write good reviews for them though if you can be patient to read more reviews you will see the genuine ones

Lots of fake apps are all over the internet,to avoid any fake apps,i think the best way is to go through their reviews,if any positive reviews about the app, then u can download the app into your android,if people drop negative reviews about the app, that means it's fake,by this way u will be able to detect fake apps

Honestly, this is the more reason I do not feel like downloading a lot of apps just anyhow. Sometimes, you may not know until you are being scammed.

Any app I wanna download on my phone I usually check reviews a lot because most of these applications has a way of frustrating somebody especially when you have an urgent work to do.

Fact is that it's very hard for us to trust on apps but always prefer to download app which have authority and have good reviews on leading websites as people can do fake reviews on Google play store app page. You can also sense yourself if something looks fishy.

Though if we choose to stick to only reading reviews of apps as a measure to stop the fakes, it may not be enough because the fraud stars use fake reviews there too to gain points. Avoid newer apps instead

From the comments section, every body is centered on reviews, but they forgot easily that some apps with good ratings have a lot of fake review, those apps even pay micro workers to write positive review about their app.

Well, in my opinion first of all it is better to avoid downloading apps from unknown sources. It is also good to read the reviews of the users, perhaps better the non-positive ones, which have only one star. If the problem is highlighted by more than one user, then I would avoid downloading.

I must tell you that some fake developers go as far as paying people to write good reviews about their apps. So don't base your download on your usage of an app on reviews alone. If you are going to an app for something, I prefer it is recommended by a friend who has used it before.
