How often do you trade gold?

Trading gold is a very common thing nowadays. There are many people who trade gold. Gold is being traded in many parts of the world and gold still has a good market capitalisation and trading volume. So, do you trade in gold often times? What are your experiences?

I don't do it very often, because I mostly switched to cryptocurrency, although the price movement in gold is also very attractive, although it is more difficult to predict it than currency assets or even the same cryptocurrency.

I have no experience with trading gold, however, I have invested in gold, my investment is small, though. I am yet to sell my gold. I invested in gold for long term investment. I might sell my gold only when I am ready to buy properties or make big investments.
