How much does scrap metal cost in your nation?

I used to frequently search the streets as a kid for scrap metal that I could later sell. I'm not sure how it works in other nations, but in our city, some reception areas purchase this kind of metal. One kilogram costs ten US cents.

I am not aware of other scrap metals but scrap iron cost 8 cents per kilograms. I recently sold iron scraps.
