How Dogecoin started like a joke.

Dogecoin was created in 2013 by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a playful, tongue-in-cheek take on the then-emerging cryptocurrency trend. The currency was named after the popular internet meme featuring the Shiba Inu dog and used its likeness for its logo.

Initially intended as a joke, Dogecoin quickly gained a large and passionate online community, who saw it as a fun, approachable alternative to the more serious world of traditional cryptocurrencies. Shiba Inu and Dogecoin becomes the most preferable coins for many cryptocurrencies collectors they gots popular like litecoin one. A lot of faucet sites pays users throught them.
 
Dogecoin has really become the quintessential meme currency, taking away the seriousness of cryptocurrency investments and being adopted by many people simply for fun, it has also become a very popular currency on some social networks like Twitter, I think Dogecoin is with us to stay.

Most of popular coins nowadays starts like a joke and then becomes so popular as this is general rule everything starts as meme coins then becomes a serious project.

Well, it is true to a certain extent, although many others also started with the idea of starting as a meme due to the popularity that dogecoin reached, for example Shiba inu, floki inu, babydoge...
 
I liked doge because its name is quite funny but then I came to know about Elon Musk and his interest in Doge so now I am also planning to invest big amount in Doge.
 
Despite of starting as a joke it is now one of the best crypto currencies and many analytics rate it as a top tier crypto currency and it has the 10th position in market, day by day I am getting interested in it and want to invest in this crypto.

I think a lot of people prefer Dogecoin Cryptocurrency mostly because of how Elon Musk promotes it
