Google has removed 8 apps from PlayStore , which are cryptocurrency mining based. It is also advised to immediately delete these apps from your phone if you are using it. These apps were mostly based on cloud mining , with promises of huge profits , but in reality , they are scam apps tricking users to watch ads , pay for subscription services and pay for mining plans for fake returns. Here is the list of all these 8 scam apps :

* Ethereum (ETH) - Pool mining cloud

So , stay safe and delete these apps if you have installed and also aware newbie people to crypto about these scam apps.

I don't know the reason why I don't believe in anything called mining bitcoin online or any other coin like that because to me is Like a waste of time and no the platform will give you bitcoin for just doing a little task guess.

Yeah , in most of the scam cloud mining apps , they don't even require you to do anything except enabling the cloud mining once a day or so. There are few legit platforms though giving out free crypto for watching ads and doing such tasks.

Yeah really good information and I'm just seeing those sites too for the First time but it's good what Google is doing by looking out for the welfare of users because scams are rampant now

The only mining app that I have ever used on my phone was cryptotab browser. I started having problems on my phone after I started using crypto tab app, therefore, I deleted the app. It is too risky to use a random app on your phone.

Maybe due to their negative reviews by it's users. Google doesn't like keeping a hyip app that isn't rewarding to users. And most of those mining apps are simply waste of time.

There are many such kinds of HYIP sites that are disguised as "cloud mining" sites. I am sure that removing just eight apps is not enough. Google should investigate and remove all scam apps.

I only ever add apps from verified publishers and services. A lot of apps get away with having bitcoin in the title. And a lot of those apps would be confused as the real service, so that's not good.

The fact of the matter remains that just because a HYIP site has spent money to create an app, this alone does not guarantee that the HYIP owner is serious about his or her business. Unfortunately, there are many other kinds of scam apps that are not HYIPs, actually. however, they still scam people by not paying them.
