If only the transaction fees are high i would have invested on it but sadly I can't handle the transaction fees and i will probably end up with loss instead. I also think that if not only for that reason the price of Ethereum would've already crossed 2000 USD.

ETH price reduction isn't much at the moment when you compare it with BTC own. Bitcoin have dropped more than 15% in the last seven days. Compare to ETH that is seeing a decline of 5%.

Sure, Ethereum is a profitable digital coin if you buy plenty and leave it to grow for the long time. Sometimes too, it brings short term interest, it depends on your experience monitoring the coin's progress.

The coin is currently valued at $1.804k just $196 shy of reaching another high figure of $2,000. It recorded a slight daily price increase of 1.67% and a weekly increase of 6.92%. With seven (7) days marketcap value poised at $206.85billion, and a trading volume of $42.82billion.

To be honest this is not something that I actually expected to happen. I expect that it can be due to many people taking out their funds within the Bitcoin market and therefore transferring them to this cryptocurrency and also the fact that there is a Version 2.0 which actually provides people with better benefits than the previous version.

I never knew Bitcoin now has version 2.0, that helps facilitate transactions and improves stability of its blockchain. But did it reduce the high transaction fees??

Laughs, Ethereum still have other big investors who is steadily investing around the coin. Maybe Elon didn't pick interest on the coin.
