Statistics has revealed that more than $4 million worth of Bitcoin has been lost so far.
It was also reveal that the two possible ways that could have lead to the Lost of these coins are ; those who lost their private keys and those who died without giving out their private keys. Those who died without giving out their private key constitute more to the number of lost Bitcoin.

Having said this , it is then ideal that we share our private key with our loved and trusted ones , so that of anything happens to us , our bitcoins won't be lost forever.

Maybe loss in that time due to the bitcoin low sales or trades and now bitcoin is booming all the way up as so many cryptocurrency also following the bitcoin its much better to invest now due to the popularity of the crypto and many has time for it.

I have boycotted an exchange site because I couldn't remember my details. Luckily, I was new into Crypto and had nothing there. I'm suggesting you can include your private keys in your will or in a safer way like being locked in safe deposit box of a bank. The latter is better I think

Your suggestion is a great one which cannot be underlook because know one knows when to die, but when you share your private jet with your family or trusted friend, even though you die your friend will be to reclaim it back. Kudos for the suggestion.

I don't currently have a bitcoin portfolio right now but if I later got to have a Bitcoin portfolio I will make sure I write down the key or password to my bitcoin wallet so that it won't be lost forever and I will also ensure that I pass down the key to someone else.

It is a very bad practice to be keeping your Bitcoin wallet key in your emails. That email account can be hacked and the private key compromised in a heartbeat. Then you would have lost all your bitcoins. It's good if a loved one you trust can have access to your key

I am the only one who knows my private keys and I don't think I can share it with anyone. The reason may be that those who know cryptocurrency in my house are not trusted enough, so I don't see myself sharing my private keys.

My brother only have access to my Gmail account and it's where all my data and passwords for all my accounts are stored, it's the safest way to save my data.
