I don't normally invest in crypto, unless I research enough to know it's safe. But, I don't usually invest in anything when it's backed by a celeb, especially one who has tried to sell multiple things in the past. What about you though, do you trust celebs who try to promote unknown cryptcurreny or even start their own?

I don't trust such project, as I usually see it as a way to lure you into investing your money on the project, that is why it is advisable to always carry out extensive research before investing on any crypto project.

I would rather invest money in a decentralised cryptocurrency. However, investing money in any cryptocurrency is very risky and it does not matter if it is centralised or decentralised because the market could crash at any time.

I think I can invest in any crypto currency, even if it is backed by a celebrity. For me, it is highly dependent on who the Celebrity is. I can only invest after in such venture, after carrying out adequate research.

Well maybe if the celebrity is very popular then I might consider investing in it but most of the time I would rather invest in reliable crypto like Bitcoin ir Ethereum

I do not trust celebrities or influencers related to crypto, so many scams have been shown by these people in the cryptographic world that makes you not have a good image of them in terms of investments or cryptocurrencies refers to, an example can be everything that happened with Logal Paul.

I don't trust celebs who try to promote unknown cryptocurrencies or even start their own. This is because i feel most celebs know little or nothing about crypto currencies. They might just be after the fame that comes with owning a crypto currency.

The fact that some people are celebrities does not mean that we should trust them when they create their own cryptocurrency. Some of them do not know anything about it

Celebs or not, a cryptocurrency's white paper or pitch is the only thing that draws me closer to investing in a particular coin or not. Just like companies deceive people with models, it also tallies to assume those using celebs to front their cryptocurrency business are only trying to lure investors into blindly following the celebs they admire.

Investment decisions should be made purely on facts and figures, not some silly emotional attachments.

I don't trust celebrities who started their cryptocurrencies. Because creating cryptocurrency involve having skills of blockchain skill. And how many of celebrities are high tech experts. The fact that they succeeded in their careers could meant they are experts in cryptos.

In reality, there is nothing wrong in a celebrity establishing their cryptocurrencies if they really develop interest in making money in the cryptocurrency world. Subsequently, i have seen a lot of celebrities create their own crypto projects.

I honestly really do not trust anyone, be it a celebrity or not. That was how some time back they created a crypto currency based on the popular korean series squid game. In the end it turned out to be a huge scam.

There's already so much cryptocurrency out. A lot of them have been so worthless they are called shit coins. I don't think that it's realistic for us to have celebrities jump into having their own cryptocurrency because it will keep on messing up a lot of things.

It's important to exercise caution and conduct thorough research before trusting any investment opportunity, including those associated with celebrities. While some celebrities may have a strong following and influence, it does not guarantee the reliability or success of their cryptocurrency ventures.

This is actually something that I foresee happening should celebrities jump into having their own cryptocurrency because some of them are going to use it as a business and probably have a lot of people invest and eventually crashed the coin.

I don't trust them at all, in fact I dislike the idea. It's a way of defrauding people online. I remember venturing into a particular coin sometimes ago, I had already lose about $1000 before I realized it was just a pump and dump coin organized by a particular football club. I was scammed.

This is the reason why I try as much as possible to conduct a very serious research in any particular cryptocurrency that I am interested in investing into so that I will make sure that everything I hear about it checks out before I will put $1 in it.

I do not trust any assets endorsed or backed by celebrities for two reasons, one, they are receiving money for doing it and they don't care whether the project is good or not, they are just promoting because they received incentives. And two, they have invested a lot of money and by endorsing it, the price can go high and they will make money.

The simple truth is that they are going to be very selfish with the investment because the only thing that is going to be off a high interest to them is making their own money back from the project. Once that is done, they are going to most likely dump the project and a lot of people will lose their money.
