I strongly believe that the ban may be lifted any time soon but what i don't understand in this my country is how can they see their masses suffering...those that have found a way to their financial freedom...they are on a mission to thwart their efforts.

I know that this Ban on cryptocurrency is going to be reversed very soon. You know why? The senators too are affected. You know anything that affects them, they'll act quickly. So let's be hopeful

There is a possibility that the ban on cryptocurrency in Nigeria may be reversed. But I am afraid because of the kind of opposition launched yesterday by northern senators. They all opposed cryptocurrency as if it was doing any harm to the country. So let's just put our arms and see how things goes.

Do you think the ban stamped by CBN on naira to crypto currency exchange will be reversed. That's an awesome question. Well to me I think the ban set by CBN on naira to crypto currency exchange will be reversed because alot of people have invested alot in crypto currency and the ban as been a barrier for people who wants to withdraw there funds.

This is not the first time government is issuing ban against cryptocurrency in Nigeria. But this time I don't think they want to reverse it. Their aim is to fight the youth because of the endsars saga but the youth will always ahead of them in the game they are playing.

I believe the ban on cryptocurrency trading by the government will be reversed. Meetings are already going on between the Senate and the Central Bank of Nigeria on reasons why cryptocurrency shouldn't be banned.
[automerge]1613167192[/automerge]
My prayer is that they meet at a consensus Agreement, they are still debating the actions of the CBN at the senate and we hope the results come out negative, if this draconia law remains it's really gonna have a negative impact on youths
[automerge]1613167294[/automerge]
The question of weather or not it will be reversed is not so much a doubt. But I think it will be certainly reversed and I have no doubt regarding that. It would be a question of the time in question or how long it takes to happen.

One thing I can say is that this ban create opportunity to have another venue of making money from cryptocurrency. I don't think Central Bank of Nigeria can reverse the policy made about the cryptocurrency. one thing I know about Nigerian youths that they are going to come up with another way without getting affected by this policy. To be very honest Nigerian youths are not lazy
Sure, Nigerian youths are never lazy in any way. We're still hardworking and finding the root to get other avenue to get our funds out and also acquire crypto without much hassle at all. Their are people over there at binance that is seeking to buy coins for trading purposes. So it will be good to sell to them and make money.

I surely believed that the ban will be lifted by the Central Bank of Nigeria because there are a lot of Nigerians that are earning legitimately through cryptocurrencies. The ban has also affected a lot of small and medium scale businesses since most people now carryout foreign exchange with the use of cryptocurrencies. We are used to the fire brigade approach of Nigerian policies they only make policies without thinking it through.

There have been a lot of complaints from every quarters in Nigerian as to why cryptocurrencies should be ban at this period of economic downturn which is ravaging the country. Some groups are planning a massive protest concerning the ban. The Senate has already called the Central Bank governor for further briefing on the issue for cryptocurrencies ban

I think the ban placed on crypto currency by the cbn would be reversed. The government is not sure what they want, that's why they're trying to push the blame on different people, the cbn governor this time, very soon they'll grow weary and have no choice since lots of those politicians trade with crypto.

There are actually possibility of it being reverse especially as the senate has invited the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria to questioning me on the rationale behind banning the cryptocurrency. Yousendit is one organ of the government that I know it's so meticulous when it comes to investigations so I believe the senate might cause the cryptocurrency ban to be be lifted and a more regulatory framework will be carried out.

They can if they chose to. It is just a matter of time. The ban was I'll timed and not properly considered. With a new leader with different innovation it won't take more than a day to repeal the ban. It's not something so rigid that can not be reversed.

Without an iota of doubt I know they will revise the decision as it is very obvious it didn't help them in anyway what so ever. They claim it will breeding fraudulent or sharp practises which has equally been on the rise despite the ban that was placed on it.

The country is just jumping they don't have tangible reason why the banned crypto to naira transaction. They might say its devaluing their fiat, but truth be told the Naira has been on the decline before crypto came live in our country.

We all know the current state of Cryptocurrency in our country. Things aren't going well right now when it concerns crypto exchange. I heard today that the Nigerian senate have arranged a memorandum of understanding with CBN to reverse the current ban imposed on Naira to Cryptocurrency exchange. Cos they believe that the hard working Nigerian citizens earning legitimately through crypto investment shouldn't suffer more than they can. They have reviewed the issue and want to do something about it, based on the widespread rant caused by dissatisfied people that were heavily affected in the recent crypto ban pronouncement.

Do you think they can reach concrete consensus to come up with a solution to our problem and reverse the current ban??
I don't believe I this country again at all for example see the way things have even become now I heard they were thoughts on ban of twitter and you expect them to remove the ban on crypto currency anytime.

Change is inevitable in life, and anything can happen in life , so i believe Nigerian government can lift the ban being put on crypto currency because , law can be changed anytime.

Yes, you made sense dear. Change is constant, they can still rescind the ban put on crypto transactions with Naira. Only time will tell, for now I'm just thinking about making money with crypto and other options.

Who knows, it can be reversed only time will tell. At this point in time I'm settled using P2P method. But if its reversed then crypto transactions will comeback normal via those local wallet/exchangers.

I don’t even know the reason for the ban in the first place because many developed countries are going into crypto but CBN actually ban the transaction. So I don’t think they will reverse the ban in this era

I don’t this current administration will ever reverse that bill. Just yesterday the central bank of Nigeria governor was invited into the senate house to give reasons about the recent ban and lot of senators supported him. Most cryptocurrency exchange have devised another strategy to help with withdrawals and deposits.
When the presidency denied any involvement in the ban of crypto the CBN governor could only have closed door meeting with his cohorts, just disheartening the kind of things that happen around.
