We all know the current state of Cryptocurrency in our country. Things aren't going well right now when it concerns crypto exchange. I heard today that the Nigerian senate have arranged a memorandum of understanding with CBN to reverse the current ban imposed on Naira to Cryptocurrency exchange. Cos they believe that the hard working Nigerian citizens earning legitimately through crypto investment shouldn't suffer more than they can. They have reviewed the issue and want to do something about it, based on the widespread rant caused by dissatisfied people that were heavily affected in the recent crypto ban pronouncement.

Do you think they can reach concrete consensus to come up with a solution to our problem and reverse the current ban??

I don’t this current administration will ever reverse that bill. Just yesterday the central bank of Nigeria governor was invited into the senate house to give reasons about the recent ban and lot of senators supported him. Most cryptocurrency exchange have devised another strategy to help with withdrawals and deposits.

Hopefully, the ban may be reversed but may take a long while to be achieved, i have read in the news various debates from the Senate with some from the North in support of the ban and some from the South who are against the ban, If a court injunction can be served against the Federal Government, it would force them to look back into the issue, let's be hopeful, Bro.:)

The private keys to your coins are exchanged when you leave your cryptocurrency on the exchange and your coins may be stolen in a hack. Of course, it would be appropriate to keep actively traded cryptocurrencies on an exchange. However, any crypto that does not intend to sell you should not be exchanged.

Definitely it's likely that the ban will be reversed any moment from now because according to a need I read this afternoon, Nigerian Senate have summoned Nigerian CBN governor and Sec over the ban of crypto currency exchange Business in Nigeria

Yes I also learnt that the Senate Chambers called on the Central Bank governor of Nigeria to appear in the Senate Chambers and explain how cryptocurrency affects the nation. I really hope and I believe something positive will come out of this memorandum because so many youth are very sad about this development.

I have a strong feeling that the ban will be lifted. Owning to the instability of Nigeria leaders in decision making. They will still resit and reverse the ban. Some of the senators are benefiting from these venture and will not rest for these reversal.

These days, a number of businesses have entered the industry to reach out to consumers through various platforms. Hence it is important to understand the structure of the operations you want to use when starting your own online and offline business models.

I don't think the ban on crypto currency imposed by the federal government can be reversed because, federal government believe the crypto currency is affecting the dollar to rise and its not true. One thing about federal government is that once they make a decision its not easy for them to go back on it.

I want us to relax about the whole situation at hand in Nigeria. They definitely will reverse this. The whole of the very mighty business countries are into this and we shall move with them soon. Shame on Nigeria! As we are always selfish and love to crawl while others are flying

Unsuccessful people don’t value their time. They are everywhere, anywhere, anytime because they lack the ability to dedicate their time towards their goals. And year after year they make new promises which never come to fruition simply because they couldn’t be bothered to put in the time required towards their goals. Time management skills, learning how to say no and knowing what commitments to undertake, is a step towards great success in any area of our lives.

I don't even know why cryptocurrency was banned in the first place I mean we have so many other pressing issues in this country so why ban cryptocurrency for now, I just hope they see reason to reverse this issue because huge investors will be affected in my opinion

That's how our country is, when others are flying we are busy dropping down. I'm very saddened with this low breaking situation at hand. I just hope such memorandum of understanding between the senate and CBN goes as planned so the ban can be reversed.

It can be reversed. Only one person can't determine the affairs of the nation. I believe there are some top government officials who's investments could also be in cryptos. Moreover, so many countries are welcoming crypto currency. Nigeria can't just be an exception.

@Sincerem reversing the cbn on bitcoin exchange and transaction through deposit money banks can be reversed. The ban is highly irrational and doesn't and the decision was made in a haste without thinking of the effect on naira.

If the ban didn't hold much water before it bursted in the year 2017 definitely this also won't last especially that the Senate and the SEC are more of support to Crypto currencies than the outright ban by CBN.

The CBN ban stamp placed on crytocurrency in Nigeria will surely be reversed. This global innovation in blockchain technology will never leave Nigeria behind. Even most senators of the legislative arm of Nigerian government are into crytocurrency so they will still look into the matter and surely reverse it.

I strongly believe that the ban may be lifted any time soon but what i don't understand in this my country is how can they see their masses suffering...those that have found a way to their financial freedom...they are on a mission to thwart their efforts. God no go shame us.

Anything is possible if the right people are involved in reviewing with the CBN and make them see the best way it will contribute to the economy of Nigeria and also how it can be regulated. I believe they can reverse it.

I believe it will be reserved because it has become one of the important element in our economy. As a yesterday, the Senate inviting the CBN president to the house for questioning on the reason for such outrageous law. Maybe because most of the Senate members have their stocks in Cryptocurrency, since nothing that affects the masses concerns them.
