I don't believe that cryptocurrencies can actually be seen as something that is overrated because of the importance it has played in the Investment sector as a lot of people have invested millions of dollars in cryptocurrency and there are still new people who are still taking it very seriously with massive new investments.

There are some cryptos that are high right now, like Bitcoin for example, but most cryptocurrencies are next to nothing in terms of what they're worth. I'd say most of the new small time cryptos are a waste of time, but the focus should be on the main currencies out there. Like Bitcoin, Lite coin, Ethereum and so on.

There are some people who would only talk out of ignorance and whenever you hear them talking, you will know it's all their ignorance talking.

In the crypto world, I see two kinds of people, one of them are those who are overtly positive about crypto and believe crypto will liberate the world from the shackles of poverty as it is decentralized money, and two, those who oppose crypto. While crypto will not liberate from poverty as it can be profitable only to those who have money to invest, crypto still is a good form of asset and payment solution.
