If you have been into trading and holding cryptocurrency as an investment, have you been able to check and find which one of them makes you lose money more? Do you think that you're losing more just holding your cryptocurrency assest waiting for the right time to sell or you lose more trading daily?

If you don't know how to trade very well, I will say you're going to lose more than holding your investing. You're not expected to do much in holding cryptocurrency but find a good coin project with a long term chances of growth. It's like Solana which was at $2 in 2021 but have seen 14% growth now in $24.31.

In general terms, I think that traders lose more money, but ultimately this depends on your skills, a professional trader will earn much more money trading than investing, and a professional investor may not even know how to trade professionally, he could only select investments that he believes in the long term can give returns according to his analysis and simply keep his investment as long as he sees fit.

You do not lose money when you hold crypto. Even though the face value of your crypto might go drastically down, you will still have the same amount of crypto and when the market returns you can sell for the same amount or even higher amount. You lose money with trading if the price does not favor you.

Well, if the cryptocurrency price never comes back to the zone where you're supposed to make money from holding when the bullish market returns, you have certainly lost money. You can't hold your cryptocurrency for the rest of your life. At one point, you have sell.

I would say many investors loose money holding their assets for a longer period of time. I usually make more money when I put them for trading in the market. One could hold cryptocurrency for months without any price change..

It depends on the level of dips. If the dip is very much, then there is no reason to sell the coins that you are holding unless it is a matter of urgency and you wish to make some purchases of other items. If it is not a big dip, then you can trade and make profits on a daily basis.

It's very important to know when you're holding in the wrong time. When it's time to sell, it's better to sell, because holding at that point will mean going against the price trend and that's massive loss for you. Cryptocurrency analysis isn't easy, it's why most people runaway from it.

Well, I don't have any issue with selling my crypto coins, but I will struggle to sell at a loss. I want to sell when I know that I am making a profit no matter how little as that is the goal why I decided to enter into crypto coins trading in the first place.

I know very that that it's very painful to sell one's cryptocurrency at a loss because that's a permanent miss. It's the uncertainty that hovers over the value of cryptocurrency worth that makes some cryptocurrency investors to sell when they can no longer be patient to see the price come up.
