If it does then I think that the overall aim to which the whole project was even started would become defeated. I think the decentralized idea is a good one.

Seriously, cryptocurrency is best the way it is because it's definitely going to lose its financial impact and worth once it gets to become a centralized currency. Who would be the actual owners of it?

MST of these governments spitting fire against Cryptocurrencies are merely frustrated at not being in control. Decentralization is one of the most important features of crypto and losing that wouldn't help the future of cryptocurrencies.

I wouldn't really say that the owner of such cryptocurrency is actually controlling it but the huge investors who does in the process with the amount of money they invested in it.

No doubt, the major concern around Cryptocurrency is the decentralization which have caused sleepless nights to some country government that doubts it. They see Cryptocurrency as a means of payment option for criminals to steal funds without trace cos of its anonymity feature, which is the primary reason why it is created.

Centralization is never in any way related to Cryptocurrency. Only the world leaders some country leaders who doesn't feel passionate around the crypto coins that us why they're working for it to be sidelined.

Perhaps you got the message he is trying to pass wrong. For countries with weak Fiat currency , if the citizens holdl their money more in Cryptocurrency than in Fiat , there is likely devaluation of their currency. For developed countries with high rate if inflation , cryptocurrency can help solve it. So to an extent , government should be concerned about the effect of cryptocurrency.

I think their is sleepless nights when it comes to government policy on Cryptocurrency. My country government for example deliberated on the implications of crypto to their Fiat currency for weeks before coming with an unsatisfactory decision later on.

That is a fact,reason some government has started to come up with their own version of cryptocurency and some with digital fiat curency,the whole essence is to come up with a control measure,but this move will make the whole unique experience to be defeated.
