It's quite clear that Bitcoin is the choice of most whales and institutions in cryptocurrency.

For retailers though, the lower volatility and returns compared to altcoins makes them choose altcoins to hold and trade. This comes as a disadvantage sometimes especially when Bitcoin, which controls market movements undergoes a correction of crash.

Do you hold bitcoin in your portfolio and why do you do so?

The amount of Bitcoin that I hold is not significant. So,.I do not really bother myself because I've liquidated larger part of it, around last year.

I'm not holding a bitcoin presently but it is actually the best time to buy because of the dip in the crypto-currency market.

Nice post dear. I am holding bitcoin as a long time investment because I believe it is an asset class one should invest in with a long time view approach in order to make significant returns from it.

I hold Bitcoin in my wallet because Bitcoin tends to increase in value and price. So, I want my crypto to increase effortlessly and automatically. Even though the price of Bitcoin may crash, I like the idea of holding the king of all cryptocurrencies in my wallet.

I do not have bitcoin holding, when ever I receive bitcoin, I convert it to altcoins. I believe you will profit more from altcoin investment compared to bitcoin investment.

The Bitcoin is a reliable source of income and it is one of those coins that you would want to invest because it has a lot of potentials.

Yes, I have a good portion of Bitcoin and I have been investing in it for a few years in the long term, I am in constant accumulation without much interest in price fluctuations, I have a goal where I want to sell if the time comes, I hope it happens in the next halving, until then I will continue accumulating.

There was a time when I was holding cryptocurrencies as an investment, but right now, I am not holding it at all due to long bearish market and frequent crashes.

I prefer to use bitcoin cash or litecoin as an investment instead of investing in Bitcoin itself
