Once you are familiar with cryptocurrency wallets , you should also know that private key or seed phrase are the most important aspect of cryptocurrency wallets.

Just as one can't open his door with the key to the door , so it is with cryptocurrency wallet.
The private keys are the only way one can access his wallet , especially when installing a new wallet .

This is why it is important for us to write our private key on a sheet of paper ,where only us can access .

Saving Private keys as screenshot is not quite encouraged ,as it will put the wallet in danger of being hacked by apps that have access to our gallery .

I don't think any site or app can hack my gallery, is that even possible. I have granted a lot of site and app access to my gallery but I don't know if they do have access to snatch anything from my gallery without my concept.

I always screenshot my private key and I think it is save that way cos I do try to also save it on my Google drive.

I advise you to always write them down , you never can tell any of those apps could steal your data, it is more reason why some wallet don't allow screenshot like the blockchain wallet. It is better to stay safe.

Thanks for your advice,what you just said that attracted me was that saving of password as screenshot on mobile devices is not advisable yes you are exactly saying the truth because in case your phone is lost the person that they stealing your phone might have an opportunity to access your crypto wallet. But what of saving it on email ?

Learned it the hard way.. good thing i only have a few bucks worth of crypto in my lost atomic wallet. Now i always make sure to not just screenshot but i also write down my phases and seeds. I also sent them to my different social media accounts via dummy Account just incase.

True tho most Cryptos contain their private keys, which only the owner have access to. Their was case of a friend of mine who lost his private key he could not get access to his wallet , he lost his cryptocurrency, so it is important for one to keep his private key well .

By granting then access to your gallery , it means that they can access your gallery at will , they don't need a second. Permission.
The fact is that you are fortunate that you have not downloaded an app with a malware in it which can still information from the phone.

Exactly. Also, these key serves as unlockers to our wallet whenever you mistakenly forget our passwords or login ID and can,t log in. As a good Crypto wallet, they always recommend you to save in a safe place before you can start enjoying their service and I think this has help reduce losses in Cryptocurrencies.
