The essence of cryptocurrency is thus affected by the present mindset people have towards it . Cryptocurrency should be seen beyond making profit , to a medium for strengthening weak currencyI think this is natural. Once the banks and the govt form their own coins. I don't see the value for many small coins that are out there. Especially private coins that are out there. Those coins are going to lose their strong value. And mostly the open source coins are going to be staying there for some time now.
You only read the Introductory part of the article . The main article explained what I meant by cryptocurrency losing it's essence .Why do you think cryptocurrency might be losing it's essence? I particularly do not think crypto is losing it's essence.
You can say some coins might not stand the test of time. That I agree.
But the fact that some countries are yet to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment/exchange doesn't mean cryptocurrency as a whole is losing value. With time everyone will accept it.
I think it would be better if the Original Poster (OP) could be specific about which Cryptocurrency is losing its essence, as for bitcoin, it's so dynamic that it's accepted almost everywhere. Even anywhere bitcoin isn't accepted, a few clicks on the internet would quickly fetch you some bucks through your bitcoin and you settle your billHave you ever wondered why cryptocurrency has never been accepted worldwide ?
Have you wondered if there is more to cryptocurrency ,other than trading and making profit from it ?
This article tends to shed light to these questions.

In my opinion I think that the main reason for crypto not being accepted globally is the security concerns that result from this form of currency. Not only can there be hacks and o forth for this currency and people can lose out a lot on the online platforms, but there is also no way for the government officials to control its use, which can lead to criminal activity in this area. This is very dangerous and as such there are countries that do not want to integrate it into their economy.Have you ever wondered why cryptocurrency has never been accepted worldwide ?

I guess you didn't get to read the full post ,that's why you don't understand what I actually mean by the post.I think it would be better if the Original Poster (OP) could be specific about which Cryptocurrency is losing its essence, as for bitcoin, it's so dynamic that it's accepted almost everywhere. In fact it seems to be the exact opposite that is happening at the moment because the value of crypto have been increasing drastically lately to the point where there are many people that have profited quite handsomely from their crypto investments. Especially If you look at coins like bitcoin and Ethereum, whose value has more than doubled in the last month alone.Cryptocurrency isn't in anyway loosing it's value, i agree with you that it hasn't been accepted worldwide, but i won't agree with you that it's loosing its value. I'm glad I had invested some certain amount on it. And I believe someday in the future I would see results.
You're absolutely right on this, I really regretted deeply why I didn't invested on bitcoin and etherum all this whole time, early last year I had such intentions but I was afraid. And now I regret everything, it's recently that I have invested on lite coin, XPR, BCH, BTC and etherum. In fact it seems to be the exact opposite that is happening at the moment because the value of crypto have been increasing drastically lately to the point where there are many people that have profited quite handsomely from their crypto investments. I had the same fear as well in the early part of last year. Once the price dropped during the start of the pandemic I was afraid that the price may continue to drop and as such cashed out on a lot of the coins that I had in crypto, instead of buying more. To be honest though I did not expect this in the market. I thought that it would fall during the second wave of the virus as it did when the global pandemic started.,You're absolutely right on this, I really regretted deeply why I didn't invested on bitcoin and etherum all this whole time, early last year I had such intentions but I was afraid. Really? But the whole world is getting involved in cryptocurrency these days. I can't imagine some countries using it to pay the citizens soon. Cryptocurrency is a nice platform which can be used for many things. I never believed that the whole world has not accepted it.Have you ever wondered why cryptocurrency has never been accepted worldwide ?
