Cool projects around cryptocurrency?

What are some of the cool projects coming out that rely on cryptocurrency or are a part of crypto? I imagine we're going to see a ton of new projects centered around crypto, maybe earning it, or fun ways of earing it. I know we're already seeing video games that help you make crypto, or allow you to buy/sell digital items for crypto. And I think we're going to see more game tournaments that result in crypto wins. Also gambling might start to utilize crypto, which I bet they already have started doing something like that.

Anyhow, do you know of any cool crypto projects that isn't just about cryptocurrency? But is something that is unique and different to crypto?

I've never been interested in looking out for any kind of projects that are being made as side cryptocurrency set up apart from the way I already know how to invest in cryptocurrency by either buying and holding it for a long time or being involved in trading the coins that I want to trade and make my money from it.
