Often we are confused to distinguish between coins and tokens,
we can make the wrong investment, in your opinion, How do you distinguish between coins and tokens?

The token is for ICO however coins are cryptocurrencies, for example, you buy tokens with Metatask to participate in ICO before release but after release, it becomes a coin.

I once read that the differentiating factor is about having a blockchain.
A coin has its own blockchain, like Bitcoin and doge while a token relies on another coins blockchain.

It's funny how little we know of cryptocurrency terms.

It cannot be a wrong investment just because it is a token. Coin has its own platform where as tokens exist on other blockchain.
