Can I buy Crypto with AMEX?

I have a Amex Card, and for those who don't know, it's American Express and they provide company and personal credit cards. I know Mastercard and Visa can be used to buy Crypto but I've never tried Amex with Crypto.com or Coinbase. Does anybody know or has tried this before?

Although I have never bought Bitcoin/cryptocurrency using AMEX, but to my knowledge, you can use AMEX to buy Bitcoin on Paxful.com. On Paxful you can also find registered vendors/sellers offering Bitcoin purchases with AMEX.

I also have not used this America express card to buy Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies on crypto.com before as only use master and visa card on that platform. You can simply give it a try. They can only reject the purchase that's all and nothing will happen to your card

Nah, I'm sure this america express which you called amex will only be applicable to Americans or other limited countries where the card is being used.

Some exchange site might provide you with the option of buying any Cryptocurrency using the American express card,while others might prefer other mode of payments.

Depends on the clauses mentioned by your card issuer. I have Visa, while Visa allows you to buy crypto, in my home country, my card issuer has blocked this option.

I have never used this before nor have i heard about it. But it sounds nice. If its save to use it in purchasing crypto then go ahead. The main is to make sure its safe to use.

I only know of master and visa card too but not sure an Amex card can be use.The problem there is just to link the card with your coinbase. You can use it if only you can link it to the account

I don't have amex card neither have i tried using it on cryptocurrencies platforms to but any cryptocurrency a anyone time. But I think it might work just like other cards work too

Its the first time for me to hear about Amex. I heard of MasterCard and visa too. Just try to use it if you have it. I will surely try it too if I have that card.

I am very optimistic that they permit the purchase of cryptocurrencies using their card, because most of payment platforms have already integrated cryptocurrencies payment method.

I have not bough cryptocurrency with AMEX using their cards because most the platform have their method of buying cryptocurrency, for me I have never try that before.

Every cryptocurrency exchange at that I have been to actually has a way that they can be able to buy bitcoin for you using your credit card and that is what I usually stick to. If this one has some benefits than I am likely to try it out.

I have nobly heard of people using MasterCard and VisaCard to purchase crypto, do not really have much knowledge on AMEX but I think it should also work since it’s a verified means of payment.

Well I haven't tried this (wasn't aware of this development at all till I read somewhere in the comments), but it's a good development and would increase the acceptability of Bitcoin among Americans.
