Can a new crypto come out and compete with Bitcoin right away?

As long as cryptocurrencies are concerned, I don't think any altcoin can come out now and compete with bitcoin because bitcoin has gone a long way in terms of value appreciation

The possibility of a coin coming out to compete with bitcoin would be impossible,this is due to the fact of the years the bitcoin has been in the market,the credibility it has gained over the years is another and also the capitalisation and the caliber of investors is another factor for its dominance.

I doubt if there will ever be any coin that can overtake bitcoin. Bitcoin has gotten to an extent where it has become unstoppable. If there should be anyone that can overtake it , ethereum being the closest should be it.

It may be possible anyway, as anything is possible in the world of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and it will be hard for any cryptocurrency to compete with it.

Their are things that are impossible to do in the world of crypto currency and one of it is the emergence of new crypto currency into the market that's higher than bitcoin,mi beleive its impossible .

There is nothing impossible to happen but for a new cryptocurrency to come out now to compete with bitcoins it will be a very difficult thing to achieve as bitcoin is an already established and well accepted cryptocurrency by the whole world.

I am sure that they are a new course that will compete with the likes of litecoin and so many of them but I don't see any coin competing with bitcoin at least for now.

Bitcoin has already taken the lion share of all other cryptocurrencies in the maker. It will be very difficult for a new coin to rival with bitcoin but it is not something that is totally unachievable for another coin to do.

New crypto-currency can compete with bitcoins because bitcoins is the most valuable cryptocurrency,any cryptocurrency that is ready to compete with bitcoins must have a market cap of 1 billion US dollars which might not be easy.

with the level bitcoin is on, I highly doubt it because bitcoin has moved to a drastic point that even eth which is closest to it is still struggling to meetup

Even if its a Jeff Bezos coin it will surely follow due process before climbing up the ladder. It can't just burst up and replace what has been in existence for more than 12 years.

There was a crypto worth more than a bitcoin , but it was not as popular as bitcoin because there was no applications or use of that crypto , it was more or less like a hyip crypto. So , bitcoin will remain in top always.

I think there can only be one bitcoin and as you are aware off there are now people that are building thousand of other crypto to solve many different problems.

The only crypto currency coin that can contend with bitcoin in the next five years is ethereum, i doubt it that a coun will emerge now and contend with bitcoin that is valued around $48,000.

For me I wouldn't really say it that way , it's just like saying there's a king and a new born baby will overthrown the king .... Bitcoin is by far the most popular , widely accepted , maybe not the most used but it's recognised and not to forget it's the first ever crypto currency ...we have etheruem, Bitcoin cash , litecoin all these are doing well with time they would compete with Bitcoin

Would it be possible if someone made a new currency, and it matched up to Bitcoin right away? I think it would be fantastic to find a new currency that can compete with bitcoin, because so far, I don't think anything else comes even close. At least not yet.

All newly created cryptocurrencies are all competing against or usually traded against the Bitcoin as we all know it. There is no way any new cryptocurrencies will topple the Bitcoin in value at any one time

Thank you ........it's impossible btc is over 34$ currently with ath at 60$+ ....the next which is Eth is at 1900$+ ath 3000$ ....you can see the gap....so it's seems not seems it is impossible

Right now bitcoin is valued around $34k and ethereum is $2.1k and that Is how ethereum has been trailing behind bitcoin so I think it might not happen that ethereum will surpass bitcoin.
