Bitcoin given to protesters

In Canada, the truckers are protesting on the Covid-19 restrictions that was placed by the Canadian government. The protest was at the height when the Canadian authorities order the banks to cease funds of the truckers inord to curb the protest. But a trucker named Tim Pastoor was handed an envelope containing bitcoin that worth 8,000CAD
 
This is still a manner of payment for stopping manifestations or anything related to this as a gift to stop such a thing. This is my point of view about receiving money.
 
I have heard and followed a little bit about this protest. I think it's an overstep of power to cease vehicles and bank accounts to those who are protesting and supporting the protests. Although, I don't think the protests should be blocking the road and corrupting the flow of everyone else trying to live their lives.
 
Bitcoin has saved many individuals, institutions and countries from a many situation because it will allow them eliminate third-party interference.
