Crypto faucets is often the most popular way to start out earning cryptocurrency, and I think that at some point every crypto users has ventured into the use of a faucet. However, using a faucet is not all simple, and there is one thing that i would like to warn all members here off when it comes to faucets.

Many of the faucets make sure that they check for adblockers, and this is natural as these faucets make their money through the ads that are displayed on their website. However, there are also many faucets right now that employ shortlinks. Some of he faucets that i have used has been scanned and within the shortlink there is sometimes a malware that is detected that arises from these ads. Whilst the faucet may not be able to control the ads on the shortlink and these malware it is important to either have a malware online defender that can save you from this, or to stop using the faucet and look for an alternative.

I personally stop doing faucets, it not worth it
Modern faucets don't really give Bitcoin away for free. They earn money from ad traffic, and their profits outweigh the value of the coins that they pay out. ... This means that you need to use a faucet dozens of times before you actually receive a payout in your cryptowallet.Au

I believe that free things don't last long, so faucets is very small in gain
All Bitcoin faucets are pretty much profitable if used strategically. This is probably the easiest and inexpensive way to earn free Bitcoinsonline every hour. ... By then, the tiny fractions of Bitcoin provided by the faucets can probably be worth more

I agree with you. And i think that one of the most frustrating points when it comes to faucets as well is the high withdrawal limit that you have, and with the small claims it can take a very long time before you are bale to reach or meet this minimum withdrawal limit, by which time there is also no guarantee if the faucet will still be functional or not.

Apart from bewaring of malware,I am being careful of having anything to do with any faucets in all,I believe their reward doesn't worth investing my time and effort.so I don't think I could have anything to do with the faucets.

My old phone got infested by malwares from going to these kind of websites before. This is another reason why I don't go with unpopular faucets and i also stay away from shortlinks because those are filled with tons of harmful ads aswell.

This quite true . Some of the ads displayed in a paid to click sites have malware installed in them by either the ads owner or a hacker who wants to steal people's data . This is why we need to download the app that detects and blocks malware .
I barely use paid to click sites because of this.

I honestly believe that in the case of paid to click sites, that the site that is promoting the site should be responsible for ensuring that the site being advertised does not contain any malware. At the end of the day the reputation of the ptc faucet is at stake and if they have malware then there is going to be fewer and fewer users.

Hmm, that is to tell us now, that their are malicious software that can break down the security of websites not just faucets. Causing it to misbehave and full of glitches that can enable the cyber criminal to get number of reward without following the timer for every reward pack.

Most times these paid to click sites barely know that a malware has been inserted on their website . Although they should do a regular check-up to ascertain when the ads in their sites have been compromised .

If we do not get a good profits doing faucet and also we will infect our machine or device because of the Malware, I think the best option is to stay where are you! The scammers and hackers use anything to hack you and the malware one of their tools.

This is fair, and in those cases they can' be held liable, as they are also victims of the malware. However in my opinion, their ptc sites should make sure that all ads to be displayed on their site first goes through a pending period where the links are scanned for malware or anything suspicious. In doing so they will generate more users, and also they will be able to detect malware on their site as well before it becomes a problem for them too.

i dont believe in all these Faucets, in most cases, they are not real. i tried one in the past, i was suppose to withdraw 0.02 BTC after some days. i monitored the mining till 0.014 BTC, but during that time, mining was so slow to the expend that i doubt if it will reach withdrawer, later i couldnt acess it again till now. so, i lost interest in anything mining or faucet of BTC.

Yes this is true. There are cases where they have been able to do this on many faucets. If i am not mistaken, one such place is the freebitco.in site. If i am not mistaken a while back there was a way in which users were altering their reward points and converting that to btc which was caused by some glitch. However i saw this through youtube and am not sure how far this is true.

That happened, freebitco.in announced it earlier on june-july last year. Saying that their site was attacked by malicious software by cybercriminals. They lost some of their site data leading to the glitch in the site. Were the reward points were exchange for Bitcoin.

Stability of unpopular faucets are very low because nowadays I think it's very hard to generate enough income with faucets even though they place ads on them. I really hate faucets with shortlinks because some of them are very hard to complete with a lot of redirects.

I stopped paid to click sites because of reasons such as this. There are times that some ads just keep redirecting suspiciously and at the end you might have had several sites blocked off thanks to the software on my device.

Yes, even with ads there are many faucets that prove to be unprofitable. Furthermore, if you are creating a faucet you need to be able to know how to detect if a user is making use of an adblock as this will stop your income from that person's ad views whilst they will still be claiming from the faucet, and so the faucet eventually runs at a loss if not managed properly.

I also find the redirects to be very annoying, especially when they constantly require you to complete various different captchas for a single earning from the faucet.

Yes, esThese are just the main reasons why most of us left working for the faucet sites. Even the main reason that annoys me most at times is just the unnecessary redirects some always as many as five times before you can access the faucet and these are just the original sources of various malwares.

Am always careful of those faucet sites , most especially that shortlink earning portal because most of those links are full of virus that can harm your system , so you have to be very careful to prevent such thing from happening or better still you use an antivirus in such times i think
