Beware of Malware when it comes to faucets

I have always suspected sites that have short links to be associated with encryption of programs that can be harmful both to your device and to you as in stealing your personal information.Now that I know i will surely cross examine every site that i join.

Am always careful of those faucet sites , most especially that shortlink earning portal because most of those links are full of virus that can harm your system , so you have to be very careful to prevent such thing from happening or better still you use an antivirus in such times i think

I think i would always consider that for my computer but i dont know if avast and trodjan is still okay for me , and i don't normally visit those faucet links , i just put the antivirus on my computer incase of any corrupted file , so it can be defeated i think , so its best to put one for yours

I agree with you. And i think that one of the most frustrating points when it comes to faucets as well is the high withdrawal limit that you have, and with the small claims it can take a very long time before you are bale to reach or meet this minimum withdrawal limit, by which time there is also no guarantee if the faucet will still be functional or not.

There's a faucet I've been using that's like that. Freebitco.in, it will take about a year to reach the minimum withdrawal amount at 5 Satoshi per hour.

Imagine spending a year doing the same thing for hours everyday just got a few dollars.

Most faucets are just not worth it.

I am also on that faucet and I have that same problem as well. I have been using it on and off for the better part of a year now and I have not reached the minimum withdrawal. Especially with the high bitcoin value the satoshi value of the faucet has gone down considerably, which is what is making it very hard to be able to reach that minimum withdrawal.

Thank you for this eyeopening thread, OP. a lot of people have been scammed by all these Cryptocurrency earning apps, some even asking you to make a certain deposit into their wallet. I think people have to be ware and be wise, Crypto scamming is on the rise now.

Yes as soon as there is a site that asks you to make a deposit before you can withdraw you should straight away claim that site as being a scam. Because there is no need to ever deposit to be able to withdraw. Otherwise that deposit can just be taken out from your funds in that site and the rest withdrawn. Therefore it is just a way to scam you.

This is a very serious matter, I have used faucets in the past but I never knew or heard of something like this in all my time of using faucets, though I haven't anything from faucets before.
I see no reason to use faucets again since I am already earning something significant online on this platform, thanks for this information as it will make me to be careful with faucets in the future whenever I decide to do them.

I agree with you. When it comes to facuets, the earning potential is very low compared to forums such as this one, and so it is best for us to utilise our time on these forums and actually learn as we are earning. There's an issue though when it comes to the malware that is on these faucets, especially when it comes to completing a short link before you are able to make your claim.

I am not using faucets any more. I stopped using faucets a long time ago because I found that reaching withdrawal threshold was quite difficult even if I could claim multiple times in a day

Crypto faucets are a really big waste of time and energy. In fact, they can be harmful and cost you money if you download malicious file from any of the websites they advertise or promote. Please stay away!

Malware is the reason why I stopped earning from faucets. My old laptop got damaged due to those malicious software and Ads , and I had to buy a new pc to continue working.

My advice if you are investing in a new PC is that you should also rather take the finances and invest in a reputable anti-virus and anti malware software as well. This way you can still access these sites however you will be kept safe by the software as it will detect and remove this malware immediately before they infect your machine. Furthermore, if there is a concern on any website that you may visit in the future that there will also be a warning that will be displayed to give you that chance to leave the website before getting into it.

Yes, even with ads there are many faucets that prove to be unprofitable. Furthermore, if you are creating a faucet you need to be able to know how to detect if a user is making use of an adblock as this will stop your income from that person's ad views whilst they will still be claiming from the faucet, and so the faucet eventually runs at a loss if not managed properly.

I also find the redirects to be very annoying, especially when they constantly require you to complete various different captchas for a single earning from the faucet.

I am not aware of any faucet that is profitable at all. Almost 99 percent of the faucets are a big waste of time and energy. Many people say that cointiply is good but I believe that it is also a big waste of time.

Thanks for the advice. But its been too long I have stopped earning from faucets , maybe I consider faucets for new coins in future. And some antivirus doesn't let some important programs to install in pc.

Faucet is not profitable. I know some people may have some time to spend on those platforms but to me is not worth the stress at all except you are save when carrying out those faucet activities.
