I beleive bitcoin has thier own way of keeping your money for you without linking your debit card , and for me even if an online sites ask me to bind my debit on their site, that will be the end of our transaction.

I don't think that would be possible anymore all because of the banned the federal government put on any crypto currency in Nigeria. So I don't think that would be possible at this very moment tho.
No.... The only way to use both are probably in exchanges where you need your debit card to buy crypto into your account on exchange, but associating with wallet is not possible for now.
It is not a bad idea because you will have the need to buy bitcoin using your ATM card. However it will be safer if one uses a separate debit card for the linking .
In fact, my idea was to associate a debitcard, in order to withdraw cash from bank ATMs, not so much to buy cryptocurrencies.
If that's the case there is no need to for you to link it to your wallet because you can easily use the ATM without doing that. Secondly , bitcoin ATM will have a different form of card
The only way I think that will be possible is if VISA card company can allow bitcoin to there network will that be possible. And moreover I think most bitcoin debit cards are visa card
I think there is a way to link the two accounts together and sometimes if you are looking to purchase cryptocurrency they will ask you for the details of your card and as a result you can link them in this way.
