Are NFTs just a fad, or here to stay?

Do you feel that NFTs are here to stay or just a fad that will eventually die out? I don't think that NFTs will be around for much longer, and will be forgotten in a few years if anything. I think crypto will be around for a long time, but I don't see that happening with NFTs.

Do you think NFTs can last?

NFTs will last as long as there are creators and buyers, as long as there is a market for these things. Everything in the world of crypto is depended on market situation.

I do not know much about NFT but I do not think they are fad. As long as these are powered by blockchain technology, these are going to stay for a long time

Do you mean nonfungibl tokens? If this is what you are talking about then I do not think it would last, as the number of sales has reduced drastically on all market place.

NFTs would stay for as long as cryptocurrency would stay. They allow a whole lot of people that aren't major players to get into crypto development.
Some football clubs are even developing their tokens now. That's a sign that they're going to last.

I can see the value in them for artists but for every good NFT there are so many ones that are just so pointless.

I don't know if it will end up being a fad or not. I feel like this is something that can't stick around though with how it has been going.

NFT depends on cryptocurrency, and recently cryptocurrency is at its hype. As long as there is interest in cryptocurrency, the NFT arena will be around. This is a new technology that is removing hurdles for those who want to participate either by creating or collecting.

I am somewhat sceptical, too. I suppose as long as there is demand and hype around it, it will survive. Also, I believe that there are ways to create and use NFT's that are valuable - however, that is not the case for the majority of them.

The very first time I heard about nfts I was thinking it is just another scam used to defraud people. But the thing is that I think NFTs has come to stay.
