I'm not a fan of mining of a thing. But that doesn't mean it's not profitable. I have seen people who are into it. I, however, don't know how much they make from it. I know most of mining sites are legit. The only thing is that I see them as time waster.

I was referring to the pi network. I have to continue in the mining process because it is free and does not require a mining fee. That even if they have to crash I wouldn't have much to lose.
