With the increasing popularity of cryptocurrency, securing our assets is essential. I usually use hardware wallets and enable two-factor authentication wherever possible. How do you secure your crypto assets?

I have a Ledger for most funds, I also use 2 factor authenticator whenever I am given the option, on the other hand I use quite complicated passwords in software wallets one of them has more than 30 characters, really the more security measures you can put, better

I have not made use of Hard Wallet before now and I have been told that it's the best because no one will wake up tomorrow and lock you out from accessing your wallet unlike what's likely to happen with wallets like Crypto.com, Binance or Coinbase.

The use of two-factor authentification on any of my cryptocurrency wallet is something that is a constant and it is also the same thing I do on all my social media account because it helps to prevent anyone to have access to your account without your approval.

Yes, there are some privacy-focused solutions: tools like privacy coins (e.g., Monero, Zcash) and privacy wallets (e.g., Wasabi Wallet, Samourai Wallet) offer enhanced privacy features to help protect your identity and transactions.

It is also very important to note that you should never release your cryptocurrency login details to anyone, even your friend because there is a possibility that the person is going to use it and steal from you.

If you are already using hardware wallet, I think you already have stored your assets in a highly secured wallet. However, you will also have to remember to keep your device safe. If you cannot use a hardware wallet for some reason, you can also use a desktop wallet. Try to distribute your assets across multiple wallets.

Diversity is always very important when it comes to being security conscious towards your cryptocurrency investment because having everything stored in one particular wallet is always more risky. Should anything go wrong, you will end up losing everything without having anyone to use as backup.
