The year 2020 showed how many countries are working towards establishing a digital version of their fiat currency. China was one of the country that has developed their central bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
However ,there seems to be a major challenge towards acceptance of CBDC by citizens in the countries where it has been adopted. Many prefer to stick with the volatile cryptocurrencies than the CBDC which is not volatile .
